Flexco® Rivet Solid Plate Fastening System

  • Flexco® Rivet Solid Plate Splice
  • Rivet Solid Plate Strips
  • Flexco® Rivet Solid Plate Rapid Loader
  • Flexco® Rivet Solid Plate Rivet Bucket
  • River Solid Install

The Flexco® Rivet Solid Plate Fastening System is recommended for high-tension applications, with a staggered, multiple-point attachment for a long-lasting hold. Ideal for use with straight-warped belts because rivets separate the fibers instead of displacing the carcass.

Why Rivet Solid Plate?

  • Mechanical fastener rating from 400 to 800 PIW (70 to 140 kN/m)
  • Belts from 1/4” to 15/16” (6 mm to 24 mm) thick
  • Pulley diameters from 14” to 36” (350 mm to 900 mm)
  • Low-profile, Scalloped Edge® design is conveyor component compatible
  • Wide, heavy-gauge plates promote long wear life, with a sift-free splice
  • Rivet-attached for maximum resistance to pull out
  • Compatible with troughed belts

Installation Method

  • Portable tooling
  • Choice of hand or power installation

How Flexco® Rivet Solid Plate Fasteners Work

The Flexco® BR fastener offers longer service life in demanding, higher- tension applications and is an excellent replacement for vulcanized splicing in a wide range of industries.

Designed for high strength synthetic carcass belting, the fastener is installed with a staggered pattern of rivets to ensure maximum grip on the belt fibers. Working between these fibers without severing them, the strength of the belt is left intact. The specially-shaped head of each pilot nail works with the installation tool’s anvil plate to “self-set” the rivets.

The same hammer blows that drive and set the rivets also tightly compress the fastener plates for the strongest possible splice. The broad width and heavy gauge
of the plates give extended wear life. These plates compress uniformly and are specially coined so there are no high spots or edges to hang up.
