Flexco Presents Omaha-based John Day Company With 100-Year Plaque

January 28, 2011

Flexco representatives recently presented a plaque recognizing 100 years of business partnership to President/CEO John Fonda of Omaha-based John Day Company.

Flexco Sales and Distribution Manager Dick Reynolds and Territory Manager Larry Tindle presented the award at John Day Company’s annual sales meeting in Omaha, Neb. Fonda accepted the award on behalf of the 85 John Day Company associates.

“Business relationships measuring 25 years or more are few and far between, and business relationships over 50 years are very rare,” said Reynolds. “But business relationships that span 100 years are very special. Flexco appreciates the partnership we have formed with John Day Company and we look forward to working with them for many years to come.”

In a letter sent to Flexco shortly after the presentation, Fonda thanked Flexco for the plaque and for being a trusted supplier.

“It is certainly rare to find suppliers we have done business with for a century; you may be our first,” Fonda wrote. “We hope to continue to grow and do business with you for the next century.”
