Tony Price, owner and president of Murdock Industrial Inc. in Akron, Ohio, recently received a plaque from Flexco representatives recognizing the 100-year business relationship between the two companies.
Flexco North American Sales and Distribution Manager Dick Reynolds and Territory Manager Scott Aardema met Price and employees of Murdock Industrial in Akron, Ohio to celebrate the 100 year relationship between the two companies. Also in attendance was Tony Price’s father, Tom Price, who owned the original M.F. Murdock before selling the company to Tony in 1999. Murdock Industrial has been involved in industrial hose and belting since 1904.
During the ceremony, Tony Price accepted a special crystal plaque from Flexco on behalf of the employees at Murdock.
“It is unusual for two companies to have a business relationship that spans 25 years, rare when a relationship lasts over 50 years, but very special indeed when two companies do business together for 100 years,” said Reynolds. “Flexco appreciates the partnership we have formed with Murdock Industrial and we look forward to working with Murdock for many years to come.”
Tony Price challenged employees to help Murdock Industrial remain a relevant industrial supplier for the next hundred years.
