Clipper® Unibar® Fasteners are the preferred choice over carded hooks for most applications. They feature performance-proven Clipper hooks welded to a common bar to provide for easy handling, simple installation, and improved performance. Unibar's common welded bar reduces the possibility of a single hook dislodging from the strip, and helps prevent damage during shipment or handling. They also feature a patented Safety Strip that keeps hook points covered to protect the user's fingers and eliminate tangling prior to installation. In addition, the welded bar holds hook legs parallel to ease the "meshing" of belt ends and simplify hinge pin insertion, which is especially important with wide belts. Plus, the welded bar creates a flat finished splice so belt "wave" is eliminated.
