Technical Tips Eliminator® H-Type® Cleaners
Tip: A new way to protect the cleaner from carryback build-up.
Problem: In some abusive applications the material being cleaned off the belt causes additional problems as it falls away. It may be very sticky or extremely abrasive. As it falls to the next belt it contacts the cleaner components and causes build-up or deterioration.
Solution: Protect the cleaner components with Stainless Steel Shields. The new SS shields are designed to direct the flow of material away from the cleaner and into the discharge area. The stainless steel construction provides a wear-resistant and non-corrosive barrier that stands up to abusive applications better than the standard polyshield. For the H-Type cleaner two designs are available. The SS Tip Shield (used on H V-Tip cleaners) provides protection from the back of the tip over the suspension arms and cushions (Fig. 1). The SS Cushion Shield (for H F-and XF-Tip cleaners) gives additional protection for the cushions and the pole (Fig. 2).
Handy Hint: If a problem is noted, Stainless Steel Shields can be added to any H-Type cleaner already installed. Or if spec'd prior to installation, the cleaner can be ordered with the stainless steel shields.
Remember: "If you can't keep the material out, cover it up and direct it away without a doubt!" |
