The double-staggered grip pattern gives Clipper® Wire Hooks exceptional holding power without degrading the integrity of the belt carcass. Today’s splices also have a very low profile, making them increasingly more compatible with conveyor components and compliant with the need to reduced operating noise. Choose from a wide selection of wire diameters, leg and point lengths, strip lengths, and styles.
Unibar® Fasteners: Clipper hooks are welded to a common bar and feature our patented Safety Strip which covers hook point to protect user’s fingers. The welded bar holds hook legs parallel to ease the "meshing" of belt ends and simplify hinge pin insertion. Plus, the welded bar creates a flat, finished splice so belt "wave" is eliminated.
Easier installation and a superior splice make Unibar Fasteners the preferred choice over Carded Hooks for most applications, Carded Hooks are recommended for special applications such as bias splices, troughed belts where common bar breakage is a concern, and where special metals are not available in Unibar configurations.
Carded Hooks: Individual hooks secured on carding paper for easier handling. Works with any application, including bias splices and troughed belt applications.
ClipMark™ Series Fasteners: Designed for mono/multifilament conveyor belting and filter media up to 5/32" (4mm) thick, and for pulleys as small as 15/16" (24mm). High width-to-height ratio gives ClipMark™ superior mass and strength for increased reliability.
A key advantage of the Clipper Wire Hook system is that the fasteners are machine-installed, yielding a precise, strong and smooth splice. Clipper offers several different lacers to match a variety of on-site, production or special application lacing needs.
