Hinge Pin Retaining Washers

Occasionally there is migration of our Nylon Covered Cable Hinge Pins. We have retaining washers that will prevent this migration. Simply check the pins frequently during the first few hours of operation and install the washers if needed. The washers are supplied with packages of Nylon Covered Hinge Pins and in carton joints where these pins are included.

If you have determined that there is a migration problem and you are not using a nylon covered hinge pin simply compress one loop on one end of the fastener strip to hold the pin in place. Do not compress a loop on each side of the splice as this will twist your pin causing it to break prematurely.
