Mineline^® MMP Medium-Duty

The Mineline^® MMP Medium-Duty Precleaner tackles those tough applications where the standard-duty precleaner is not sturdy enough but the heavy-duty cleaner is overkill. The MMP is built tough with a heavy-duty pole, a larger, powerful blade and a beefy, dual tensioning system. Yet installation is simple, maintenance is quick, and bottom line – the cleaning job is excellent.

The MMP uses a 10” (250mm) TuffShear™ blade designed for high abrasion resistance and extended wear life. Each blade has 6” (150mm) of useable urethane. That means in most cases, the TuffShear blade will provide 20% to 30% longer wear than conventional blades.

Mineline’s exclusive Material Path Option allows the user to pick the blade width that matches the belt’s material path for even wear and constant blade-to-belt contact.

MMP’s dual Quick Mount Tensioners (QMTs) have two major benefits. The springs store enough energy to keep the blade powered to the belt and require only 2-3 retensioning maintenance adjustments through the life of the blade. Plus, the blade tension can be visually inspected.

The MMP is compatible with Flexco and other mechanical splices. The spring tensioners quickly move the blade away from the belt when the splices pass. The urethane blade easily glides over the splice without damage and with minimal cleaning disruption.

The MMP is easy to install. All MMP cleaners come complete with universal mounting plates and assembled tensioners that are ready to install. Pole lengths are belt width plus 54” (1350mm) to fit varying conveyor or chute wall widths. Plus pole extenders are available.
