The Flexco® XP™ Staple Belt Fastening System combines an enhanced applicator tool with the longest wearing staple fastener and hinge pin on the market to produce a superior belt splice for tough mining environments.
- Mechanical fastener rating from 800 to 2000PIW (Belt strength 1400 to 3500kN/m)
- Belts from 1/4” to 25/32” (6 mm to 20 mm) thick after skive
- Pulley diameters from 10” to 20” (250 mm to 500 mm)
- For use with solid woven PVG/PVC belting
- Steel and stainless steel fastener plates available; staples are preset in fastener
- Sets one fastener at a time with no misdrives and tool jams are infrequent.
- Larger loop area accepts bigger pin for easier insertion and extended splice life
- Produces smooth, low profile splice for compatibility with belt cleaners and other conveyor components.
- Cold rolled steel provides uniform mechanical properties and increased tensile strength of up to 50%.
- Integrated guide plate makes loading heavy belts easier.
