Y-Type™ Heavy-Duty with Ultra High-Temp Blades

Conveyor Belt Cleaner

The Y-Type™ Heavy-Duty with Ultra High-Temp Blades is made from heavy-duty, powder-coated steel with a 2-7/8” (73 mm) diameter pole and works on reversing belts, vulcanized belts, and belts with mechanical fasteners.

Specifications

  • Maximum Belt Speed: 750 fpm (3.8 m/sec)
  • Temperature Rating: 400° F (200° C) with spikes to 450° F (232° C)
  • Usable Blade Wear Length: 3" (76 mm)
  • Blade Material: Polyurethane (ultra high-temp)
  • 3" (75 mm) wide blade segments
  • Option to remove and replace blades individually or as a complete cartridge
  • Pole Diameter: 2-7/8" (73 mm)
  • Available for Belt Widths: 36" to 72" (900 to 1800 mm)

Installation

  • Pole Length: Pole Length: Belt width plus 54" (1350 mm). For longer requirements, see Pole Extenders under Belt Cleaner Accessories.
  • Horizontal clearance required: 5-1/4" (133 mm)
  • Vertical clearance required: 9-1/2" (241 mm)
